Decking is priced as we find it. After tear-off we mark wet, delaminated, or cut-up sheets and replace them with matching thickness CDX or OSB. Dry-rot at eaves often shows up here and becomes a change order with photos. We do not hide bad deck under a new shingle.

Questions
How many sheets should I budget?
It varies. Older leaky roofs can need many; a well-kept roof may need few. We photograph every sheet we change.
