TPO is the common white single-ply on Valley flats and commercial decks. Heat-welded seams, correct insulation, and edge metal matter more than the logo on the roll. We design around drains and scuppers so water leaves the roof. Thickness and fleece-back are chosen for the deck and traffic.
Problems it solves
- Failed cap sheet
- Ponding
- Open seams and failed pitch pans
Properties
- Commercial low-slope
- Residential flat additions
Materials and systems
- 60- and 80-mil TPO
- Cover board and insulation
- Termination bar and edge metal
How we install
- Drain survey
- Tear-off or recover decision
- Insulation and membrane
- Flashings and closeout
What affects price
- Squares
- Insulation R-value
- Penetrations
- Edge details
We do not publish a menu of exact prices. Cost depends on measure, materials, conditions, complexity, and final scope.
Benefits
- Reflective surface
- Welded seams
- Clean commercial look
Limits
- TPO still needs slope. We do not promise a dry roof over chronic ponding without a taper plan.
Questions
TPO or PVC?
Depends on chemicals, grease, and the building. Kitchens and some industrial decks often favor PVC.
